Artist Statement

My body of work looks into connections and interactions between people, nature, and the environment. My art looks into positive and negative relationships and their impact on those involved. I use a variety of mediums in my work and enjoy being experimental. Relationships can be beneficial to both parties, beneficial to just one party, or toxic for both parties. This is what interests me in my work. Thinking of how different relationships function is a constant theme in my work, although it is constantly evolving throughout my body of work. I use a lot of different methods and styes to get to my finished product, but the driving idea remains the same. Experimentation is important to my work and I am constantly exploring new mediums and styles to see what I can do.
